But for less than 600 dollars and more clean headroom than a deluxe reverb RI that's what I would get. Which can also be used for just OD pedal and Bypass the amp. I haven't played the cyber deluxe but it is all solid state. If I wanted a 100% solid state amp I would buy the Ethos OD amp. And I don't want to lug around either of those cabinets just to jam when I can get a great sound from the cybertwin. So you have to be a Fender amp lover to really enjoy this amp. These amps are highly sought after for those wanting to hear every single Fender amp made. You can find some on the used market and I have seen some recently for around 300 give or take a few bucks. I agree.I also have a 69 dual showman reverb with 4 x 12 JBL E120's and an early 70's 2 x 15 carvin cabinet with 2 altec lansing 418-8h. These amps have now been fizzled out and I think replaced by the G-Dec amp from Fender. I changed them out after reading at some fender/cybertwin forums that a better sound is available by lower gain tubes. He used 2 of them.when he was first asked to try 1 and he said ok they set it up for him in concert to use only on a song or 2.They set it to his original 59 bassman settings and he played through it the rest of the night and does/has endorsed the CyberTwin ever since.I swapped out the original 12Ax7's with some NOS 12AU7 Mullard E82CC (6189) Silver Plate Triple Mica, 1960s label.I got them and some NOS GE 6L6GC's for my dual showmanIve had them for several years and they make everything much better.
